Excellent Bass covering a wide variety of sounds. Yes, its is more expensive than many of the basses coming out of the far-east, but the quality is worth the extra price! Compared with other "Made in German" Basses the Sandbergs are inexpensive and just as good (if not better!). I play in a cover band and the Ken Taylor lets me dial in the sound I need ranging from a vintage rumble to an acoustic Double-bass like sound. The only thing I could complain about is a small cosmetic issue. When whiping off the headstock the "S" in Sandberg came off. I was able to glue it back on so it was no big deal. That is seriously the only "issure" is have had. I am very happy wih the instrument.
