AKG C747 V11

Thanks to its pencil-thin housing, the AKG C747 V11 is nearly invisible in most applications, yet it picks up voices and instruments at surprising distances with phenomenal accuracy and clarity. The AKG C747 V11 is a premium quality "spot/shotgun" microphone designed to solve difficult placement problems and is universally applicable for voices or instruments for live sound or recording. The AKG C747 V11 `s hypercardioid pickup is designed to be "forgiving" in its placement, making it an excellent choice for critical podium, pulpit or boardroom applications where speakers tend to move and wander off-axis. It also works well for pickup of orchestra and choirs where close miking just isn't practical. The AKG C747 V11 's tuned interference tube provides uniform off-axis rejection to control ambient noise and feedback in difficult environments, such as houses of worship. A LF roll-off switch is also provided to filter out rumble from mechanical vibration. The transformerless preamp operates on 9 - 52 V phantom power. Thanks to all its accessories including a shock mount/adapter, windscreen, mini gooseneck, swivel stand adapter mounting clamp and thread link, the AKG C747 V11 is ready to mount and use in a wide variety of applications.
