The Adam ARTist 6H is a high-grade subwoofer for studio monitoring systems, which perfectly expands the frequency range of Adam ARTist reference monitors at low-end to 32 Hz. The upper frequency barrier is variable from 50 to 150 Hz in order to meet the frequency range of the satellites. Also, the Adam ARTist Sub provides level controls (-60 - +6 dB). The adjustment of the level and the upper frequency barrier can be done conveniently using the remote control of the Adam ARTist Sub. Furthermore the subwoofer features phasen reverse (180°) and a filter for the satellite outputs, which blocks the signals of the satellites below 85 Hz, for the adequate reproduction of movie soundtracks in Dolby format e.g. The Adam ARTist Sub can be switched on and off by switches on the speaker and the remote control, but with the Signal-on mode it is able to switch on automatically when it receives signals.
