The Akai MPK mini is a compacter MIDI-Controller with a mini keyboard and eight backlid drum pads. Also, the Akai Pro MPK mini features eight assignable Q-link knobs which allow to control all parameters of the software. Thus the Akai Pro MPK mini is ideal for mobile performance or music production with a laptop everywhere and at any time. Because of the 25 velocity-sensitive keys of the Akai Pro MPK mini melodies and phrases can be played with all nuances and thanks to the Oktave up/down buttons your music is not limited to the tonal range of the 25 keys. The velocity-sensitive MPC-style pads of the Akai Pro MPK mini allow to trigger samples as well as to create beats conveniently. The pads can be used to send MIDI CC commands and program changes from the Akai Pro MPK mini to software synthesizers, too.
