The Akai Synthstation 49 is a masterkeyboard and controller, which offers perfect integration of the Apple iPad. By putting the iPads into the dock, which is perfectly adjustable in its angle, and by starting the SynthStation application the Akai Synthstation 49 becomes a complete music production device consisting of synthesizer, drumcomputer and sequencer. For playing of virtual instruments or for recording tracks with the sequencer the Akai Synthstation 49 provides a velocity-sensitive keyboard of 49 normal scale keys. The nine drum pads of LPD-style allow quick and easy creation of dynamic beats, and the transport buttons will simplify the work with different music applications. Providing a USB-connector the Akai Synthstation 49 enables to control music software on a computer and so it is possible to use the SynthStation app in software sequcencers.
