Alesis Vortex

 

The Alesis Vortex is a performance keyboard that impresses with great design and sophisticated features as well. Now keyboarders are also allowed to move around the stage just like guitarists and frontsingers do. That's why you may call it a keytar controller. First of all it looks great, is very light-weighted with 3.2 kg and it is completely independent from a cable when powered by batteries. It features 37 touchsensitive keys and 8 touchsensitive drum pads. You can play any software instrument on it and use it with Windows or Mac formats. Another highly innovative feature is the so-called Accelerometer, a sensor that reacts to action. So you can bring emotion and dynamics into your playing. Moreover, there are volume slider, pitchbender and nine controllers including toustrip, octaver and hold placed on the neck.
