Arturia Spark

 

The Arturia Spark is a drum computer with software. Beside the combination of hardware and software for producing drum sounds and patterns, the Arturia Spark also combines analogue sound synthesis with physical modeling and Samples. This technology results in 480 instruments and 30 kits ranging from analogue rhythm maschines through beatbox samples to acoustic drumsets. These can be compiled to patterns using the 64-step sequencer with 16 keys and the eight velocity-sensitive pads. The patterns and sounds can be effected with eight realtime effects controlled by the XY touchpad and many other effects, such as pan, compressor, reverb e.g.. Also numerous parameters of the sounds can be manipulated and automated. The Arturia Spark software shows both the control surface of the hardware and the sequencer, which is expanded by the Song Mode with up to 64 patterns. Also this programme provides a clear sound library as well as a graphical display of the drumsets.
