The Audio Technica AT4081 is an active ribbon microphone delivering a warm and natural sound. That is why the Audio Technica AT4081 is ideal for recording various instruments like wind and string instruments, whole orchestras and even guitar amps - it is a great drumset overhead as well. Employing its MicroLinear ribbon imprint the hand-built Audio Technica AT4081 offers high stability for its converters and protection for its dual ribbons from lateral flexing and distortion, allowing both studio and live applications. On top the high power output of the Audio Technica AT4081 grants absolute compatibility with microphone preamps. Also the design of the Audio Technica AT4081 impresses as it is very unobstuitive and rugged.
