The Casio WK-6500 is a keyboard with 76 piano style keys featuring an adjustable key velocity. In favour of a fast and simplified access to the adjustable sound features, the Casio CTK-6000 provides a data-entry dial next to the LC display. Due to the 670 installed sounds, the 200 rhythms, an editor for sounds and rhythms, 100 preset and 100 user-defined DSP-effects, the keyboardist may let his creativity flow. In order to save custom sounds, the Casio WK-6500 provides a slot for SD and SDHC memory cards. In addition, the Casio WK-6500 features a sequencer with 16 tracks, a mixer with 32 channels, a metronome as well as a built-in arpeggiator featuring 150 different types of short, successional tones. Apart from the four speakers the Casio WK-6500 has a headphone jack. Also, the Casio WK-6500 employs the various inputs and outputs: one mono line-out, one stereo line-out, a line-in socket, a sustain socket as well as an USB port. The Casio WK-6500 offers two ways of power supply: either via six mono batteries, granting approximately four hours of runtime, or via AC adapter.
