The Danelectro 56 Single Cutaway Black is an upgraded reissue. Body and top of the Danelectro 56 Single Cutaway Black consist of masonite, its bolt-on neck is made of maple and is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard, which counts 21 frets. As pickups for the Danelectro 56 Single Cutaway Black serves a pair of Lipstick singe coils. For those of you who don't know them: the Lipstick pickups create a rockabilly and surf sound, such as Eddie Cochrane or the Beach Boys. Of course, the pickups of the Danelectro 56 Single Cutaway Black may be played individually or combined due to a 3-way pickup selector.
