The Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plain Top VSB is the official reproduction of the legendary Les Paul Standard electric guitars. It may differ slightly in construction details, however not in sound. Nonetheless, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plain Top VSB is quite inexpensive. Just like the original its body is made of mahogany, and the top is made of plain, but elegant maple, which comes in a warm vintage sunburst finish. The set neck is made of mahogany as well and fitted with a fretboard made of rosewood. The sound is characterized by two Alnico-V humbuckers.
