Gibson honours lead guitarist of the flagship metal band Metallica for the first time by introducing the Gibson Flying V Kirk Hammett Aged EB. With a limitation of 100 guitars worldwide and a hand-aged look, the Gibson Flying V Kirk Hammett Aged EB provides an authentic flair of longstanding touring. The mahogany body shows heavy marks at the Flying V's distinctive body edges as well as a yellowed pickguard and large taped marks on the backside. Furthermore the Gibson Flying V Kirk Hammett Aged EB is equipped with the typical pickups, which give Kirk Hammett his signature sound: an EMG H at the neck for bluesy licks and an EMG 81 for thrilling lead sounds. Not just the black finish, but the chrome-plated hardware and the Black Speed knobs show some hand-aged details.
