The Keith McMillen SoftStep Foot Controller is a versatile control pedal, which can be used for different MIDI applications. With the Keith McMillen SoftStep Foot Controller you are able to handle various programs on both a computer or iPad, be it DJ applications, recording applications, virtual instruments or amp modeling software. Also, external MIDI-compatible devices like synthesizers, effects units or light controls can be managed with the Keith McMillen SoftStep Foot Controller and the Keith McKillen SoftStep MIDI-Expander. In order to send different MIDI signals, like switching between sounds, the Keith McMillen SoftStep Foot Controller offers ten buttons as well as four navigation keys. In this connection, the ten pads can be allocated with six different signals each. Furthermore, they can be used to increase or decrease a parameter value, like the amount of distortion, for example.
