The Line 6 POD HD500 is equipped with 16 HD amplifier models that have been newly modeled with ten times more data than ever before, thus considerably improving response and performance - giving the models a much warmer tone, more articulation and more sustain. The Line 6 POD HD500 features such classics as the Fender Twin Reverb, Vox AC30 or Marshall JTM-45 as well as modern high gain amps like the Mesa/Boogie Double Rectifier and ENGL Fireball 100 to deliver an immense palette of sounds. Furthermore, the Line 6 POD HD500 features over 100 effects from the popular M9 and M13 Stompbox Modelers, of which eight can be used simultaneously, so there are no boundaries for your creativity. In addition, the Line 6 POD HD500 comes with a looper, high-quality pitch shifting and a musical harmony effect. All those models and effects can be easily controlled and combined thanks to the Line 6 POD HD500's "Smart FX" principle. A great number of digital and analog inputs and outputs make sure the Line 6 POD HD500 can be perfectly integrated into any situation, live or in the studio. And all of that is housed in a sturdy steel casing with robust foot switches and a metal expression pedal.
