Martin OMXAE Custom BLK

 

The handbuilt Martin OMXAE Custom BLK is a steel-string guitar, featuring the usual high quality in sound, material and workmanship. The whole body of the Martin OMXAE Custom BLK consist of High-Pressure-Laminate (HPL), which is a mixture of wood-like fibers which are compressed using a very high amount of pressure. Its neck is made of stratabond, which is a laminated wood you might already know from gun stocks. On it, you find a 20-fret fingerboard made of richlite, a mixture made of recycling paper and phenolic resin, resulting in extreme density. If those wood products are alien for you, don't feel deterred, since the sound characteristics of the Martin OMXAE Custom BLK are incredibly good and don't have to hide from the ones of other guitars in that price range. An all-time classic has been chosen as the guitar's finish: satin black.
