The Ortega KTSM-5 is the 5-string version of Ken Taylor's the signature acoustic bass - so naturally it offers the best materials, workmanship and features. A solid spruce top makes sure - together with the beautifully grained flamed mahogany back and sides -  that the Ortega KTSM-5 delivers a solid bass foundation. The mahogany neck has a 863 mm long scale and features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, guaranteeing the superb playability of the Ortega KTSM-5. The integrated Fishman Presys+ pickup system is fitted with XLR and jack outputs, making the Ortega KTSM-5 the perfect instrument for stage and studio situations. In addition, the high-gloss finish and the custom inlays in the shape of Roman numerals turn the Ortega KTSM-5 into real eyecatcher.
