The Ovation YM68 Yngwie J. Malmsteen RCR is the signature instrument of the worldwidely renowned musician. In this case, it is a steel-stringed guitar with a pickup system and two F-holes as soundholes. Building the Ovation YM68 Yngwie J. Malmsteen RCR, the manufacturer uses high-quality materials only: the top of solid cedar is given support by back and sides made of solid and chambered mahogany. Into the body connects a 5-piece mahogany/maple neck, fitted with an ebony fingerboard. On the latter, the Ovation YM68 Yngwie J. Malmsteen RCR counts a total of 24 frets, marked with diamond-shaped inlays. The beautiful red body finish is called rosso corsa red and nicely harmonizes with the gold-plated tuners.
