Rode Classic II
Info
Rode Classic II
The Rode Classic II is a high-quality tube microphone with a 9-fold switchable polar pattern. Special Jensen transformers and an original General Electric JAN-6072 tube combined with the gold-steamed one inch capsule produce a smooth and clean tube-sound with silky heights and a great dynamic range. The included power supply allows to change the polar pattern from figure of eight to cardioid to omnidirectional in nine single steps. Furthermore, it provides a 20 Hz hipass filter as well as a -10 and -20 dB pad. The Rode Classic II therefore is a first-grade tube microphone which even offers the perfect vintage look due to the hand-polished brass housing.
