The Rode VideoMic Pro is a microphone especially designed for the soundtrack of video productions. Being based on the Rode VideoMic, the Rode VideoMic Pro combines broadcast sound quality and very compact and lightweight design. Compared to the Rode VideoMic the noise tranference was reduced significantly, which is due to both the improved shock mount system and the lightweight high-quality cable. With three selectable levels (-10dB, 0, +20dB), a two stage high pass filter (flat, 80Hz) and a battery life of up to 70 hours using a 9V battery, the Rode VideoMic Pro offers professional characteristics for high grade video productions.
