The SE Electronics X1 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone. The SE Electronics X1 is an extraordinary microphone for all purposes and accordingly the ideal recording mic for beginners. With its hand-built capsule and the 1" diaphragm the SE Electronics X1 stands out in the crowd of mass produced microphones of this price range. But especially the sound characteristics of the SE Electronics X1 are impressing. On top the SE Electronics X1 features a 10 dB Pad and a switchable bass cut. Also the design of the SE Electronics X1 is attractive and rugged as it has a rubber paint finish.
