The Samson UB1 is an USB boundary microphone, which is ideal for direct recordings to PC or Mac, since it is a class compliant USB device. The surface-mount condenser microphone has a omni-directional polar pattern. So the Samson UB1  is perfect for placement on the conference table and podium. Also, the Samson UB1 is mountable using the keyhole  mounting points on the rear.
