The Shadow SH 4020 - A is an onboard preamp for steel string guitars and features the Nanoflex 6 pickup system: this system has a single pickup for each one of the six strings, thus the sound of each string can be transmitted with the same volume, due to the separate volume controls of the Shadow SH 4020 - A. In addition, the Shadow SH 4020 - A is equipped with Pan-controls, splitting the single strings continuously into panorama, resulting in a unique depth of sound.
