Shure KSM313

 

Shure KSM313 is a ribbon microphone, which is optimal for voice and electrical instuments like electric guitar. The Shure KSM-313 is ideal for wind instruments as well. Therefor the Shure KSM313 offers bi-directional polar patterns and different characteristics on its two sides: On one side the Shure KSM313 provides an ascending frequency response, which is wide in the high frequencies, for a warm and powerful sound of the voice. On the other side of the Shure KSM313 the frequency response falls earlier granting a pure and definite sound. As a ribbon microphone the Shure KSM313 is a dynamic mic, but it offers the clear sound of a condensor microphone and delivering very smooth highs. The Shure KSM313 is probably the first ribbon microphone to be ready for use on stage, because it has a very rugged design and it resists high sound pressure levels as well as phontom power.
