Toontrack Beatstation is a complete workstation for recording, creating, editing and sampling instruments. The Toontrack Beatstation Sampler combines the sampling of drums, bass and lead voices in one clearly arranged window. This grants easy operation employing drag and drop and direct access to all important features and functions of Toontrack Beatstation,
like the sample recorder for creating new samples, browsing and playback of audio and MIDI with all components in the browser. Toontrack Beatstation also allows to drag and drop files into a host application. The surface of Toontrack Beatstation can be customized to the users individual needs by changing the skins as well as the order of the playing surface. Furthermore Toontrack Beatstation supports all common formats, like wav, Rex, mp3 and Toontrack library sounds, also it is compatible with sound sets of the expansion packs for Beatstation (BTXs), EZdrummer (EZXs) and Superiour Drummer 2.0 (SDXs).
