The nylon-string guitar Yamaha CGS103A II is the 2011 reissue of the popular student guitar of the 3/4 size. Both, back and sides consist of meranti, which is a tropical hardwood, and give support to a spruce top. To the body of the Yamaha CGS103A II connects a nato neck, fitted with a 18 fret fingerboard, which is made of rosewood just like the guitar's bridge. The natural wood colour of the Yamaha CGS103A II is sealed with high gloss lacquer, making for real good looks in combination with the chrome-plated hardware.
