Yamaha Motif XF8

 

The Yamaha Motif XF 8 is a music production synthesizer of stage piano size which fuses best soundquality and high versatility. Employing an internal 741 MB Wave-ROM the Yamaha Motif XF 8 provides 97 drumkits and 1,664 voices featuring very realistic sounds of pianos, acoustical instruments and vintage synthesizers. The Yahama Motif XF 8 uses an 128 MB volatile sample RAM memory and supports optional flash memory modules up to 2 GB. This grants direct access to samples in the internal memory immediately after starting the Yamaha Motif XF 8. The high-grade BH-keyboard with 88 weighted keys of the the Yamaha Motif XF 8  as well as its sophisticated sound engine with eight elements, 18 different type of filters and Expanded Articulation grant allow to control articulation and all parameters of the sound in real-time using the eight controls and eight faders. The 512 Performances and the Direct-Performance-Recording-Feature of the Yamaha Motif XF 8 allow to create playbacks intuitively. The control surface of the Yamaha Motif XF 8 was updated with features suggested by Motif XS users and features an illuminated colour-display for convenient operation.
