The Zildjian gen16 Cymbals are an absolutely new innovation and offers a completely new technique and a truly realistic playing-feel. The Zildjian gen16 Spalsh - 12 Inch is not made of rubber or plastic like common e-drum systems, but real cymbals with a special hole structure. The silent, acoustic cymbal sound is taken by a pickup placed under the cymbal which transmits the signal to the DCP-unit (Digital Processing Cymbal Unit) in order to amplifiy the signal. The Sound of the Zildjian gen16 Spalsh - 12 Inch can be changed directly at the DCP-unit and furthermore, 20 different presets are available. The combination of real tone pickup and real cymbal materials provides an incomparable sound and playing-feel.
